Mental Fitness

In the same way that running on a treadmill is a different type of physical effort from lifting weights, this class will walk participants through the unique ways we can flex our minds. It will give you a first hand taste for each of these effort types and discuss different informal habits we can use to build and promote the unique powers of our minds. Empowered by this class, individuals can easily create a mental fitness plan that is tailored to their unique life, making it simple to harness the power of meditation.

The Evolution of Ethics

This class uses modern perspectives to look at human relationships through the lens of evolutionary science. It provides an easy to understand and straightforward approach to the complex domain of ethics and morality by breaking it up into bite size categories that build upon each other. It teaches about the “what” and “why” of morality, to enable people to naturally and intuitively understand “how” to act in an ethical way when relating with each other. This will conclude with an “ethics self inventory” and give participants a powerful way to assess their actions and the ethics of any situation they find themselves in.

This class is designed to teach the universal steps we move through as we progress from starting as a novice to full mastery in any skill. It streamlines this process by explaining how to effectively use the “Hierarchy of Competence” and the “3 Error Type System” to know how good you are at any given skill and how to best direct your effort. It discusses in depth what it feels like to be at the peak of human performance (Flow State) and how we can more reliably and consistently achieve our full potential (Flow).

The 8 Categories of Intimacy

Intimacy isn’t just physical—it’s the full web of ways we connect, build trust, and feel known. In this class, we’ll explore eight distinct categories of intimacy. You’ll learn clear, practical definitions for each one, how to notice which kinds of intimacy you naturally lead with (or avoid), and how mismatches can create confusion even when people care about each other. Expect a grounded, thoughtful framework, simple reflection exercises, and language you can actually use to ask for what you want—and understand what others mean when they say, “I want to connect with you”
